Daytona Beach Homebuyers Vote Amendment 4 Florida Property Tax November 6
Wednesday, September 19th, 2012 at 6:16pm. 554 Views, 0 Comments.
There are many reasons why Volusia County homebuyers should vote "YES" on Amendment 4 this year!
Amendment 4 will make an additional homestead exemption for first time homebuyers equal to 50 percent of their home's value.
This exemption can be appreciated by Floridians who:
- have not claimed homestead exemption in the last three years
- young families who are purchasing a home for the first time
- homebuyers who are in the market after struggling through the recession
The American Dream does not have to be impossible for Floridians. Spread the word to friends and family who are first time homebuyers so they may vote the Florida Property Tax, called Amendment 4, on November 6, 2012.

Daytona Residential Resales Update September 2010
Residential resales in Volusia and Flagler counties took a slight hit following the summer expiration of the federal homebuyer tax credits. Area sales have tapered off but are stablizing with median sales prices down 12% from a year ago. "A housing recovery is taking place, but will be choppy at times depending on the duration and impact of a foreclosure moratorium,' said Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist. 'But the overall direction should be a gradual rising trend in home sales, with buyers responding to historically low mortgage interest rates and very favorable affordability conditions."
