HAPPY NEW YEAR HEIDI AND MIKE!!!!!
We returned safely back to NC and every day has been busy since. Guess I will be back at the FL condo around the last week of Jan since I believe that is when the bedrooms are being delivered. Great timing since my brother will be at his place for 5 weeks (including that time) so he will be a great help. Leo’s son also travels to Tampa every 3 weeks and is going to schedule his next trip while I am there so he can put in all the lights on the ceiling fans and also install a ceiling fan on the screen porch.
Well, enough on that. This email is really to say how much we enjoyed meeting and working with all of you. Heidi, you really have a great future ahead of you in real estate because you totally know how to relate to people and are so relaxed and patient and have so many other positive “sales� skills. We wish you all the success in the world. Thank you again for all you did for us and for the gift card which we will probably use on my next trip to FL with Leo (as he will not be coming with me the end of January).
After the nightmare we experienced back in September; we had no idea what to expect in December – it was a total dream thanks to you!!

Marty Gagliardi was an enormous help and support when we were trying to buy an ocean-front Condo in the Daytona Beach area. We were lucky to have found him on the internet among a lot of other real estate agents who promised a lot. Marty not only offers excellent services, but he delivers. When we came to Florida with a list of places to look at, he spent time talking to us to understand fully what we were looking for. With his knowledge of the local market he helped us to eliminate some we did not need to see, and then he took all of the time necessary to show us the places we selected. He was knowledgeable about each building, and when there was some question we had that he could not answer, he went to work and found the information for us. We could not be in Florida when the purchase of our Condo closed, and Marty represented us there, arranged for some repairs to the place once he had the key, and when we arrived finally to take possession of our new Condo, he was there early and turned on all of the lights so we would walk into a bright new home. That attention to detail and to client needs, and a friendly personality, are what make Marty such a great real estate agent. Though this letter is long overdue, I wanted to take a moment to “thank you� for helping us find our new home here in Florida. With Gary and I being out of state, it was sometimes difficult for us to acclimate to the area and locate exactly what we were looking for, especially with the over-abundance of houses on the market.
We have often thought of how much time you had spent with us during the four months we were actively looking and how much patience you had with us. We never felt that you were discouraged by our lack of enthusiasm over certain properties and for that… We are truly grateful of the time and dedication you gave to us! Even after the sale, your guidance to cable services, pest control, lawn care and pool maintenance were extremely helpful and appreciated!
Now that we are almost settled in… (I say that jokingly), we have come to love our home here. Even though we weren’t sure why we liked this house, we are certainly happy to be in it. I was sure that we took this house just because it was the last of the “too many� we had seen and the last one that hadn’t been sold or taken off the market! Panic struck both of us at the thought of having to start all over again. Surprisingly, the neighborhood, though near the school is quiet and we don’t hear or see much traffic and the house is turning into everything we wanted. The more we add our own personality to it, the more we hate to return to New York. Turns out, this was the perfect house for us!
I commend you on the great job you did actually listening to us and the things we wanted, needed and desired. Though we looked at many houses, they were exactly what we asked for… As it turns out, we really didn’t know what we were looking for and you, Marty, helped us find that! If ever we decide that it’s time for a new home, we will be calling you! Carol and I would just like to express our sincere THANKS and gratitude to Marty Gagliardi for all the work he did in not only helping us find, but also all the help he provided in representing us at the closing when we purchased our vacation home in Port Orange. Living in Illinois and not knowing anything about the area ...... we Google'd Realtors in Port Orange area ....... called 3 different realtors/agencies ........ Marty called back within a few hours! We talked for about 30 minutes - Marty asking questions to understand our wants and needs ...... and then within minutes of getting off the phone with him, we received an email with links to all the available Port Orange listings per our requests - it was amazing! The other realtors eventually called days later...... but by this time we had already identified several properties to look at and we were so impressed with Marty and his professionalism, we told them "No Thanks" - we are working with Marty and Team Gagliardi at Gaff Realty and then scheduled our first trip to Port Orange. After meeting Marty and looking at 8 of our picks in one day and making an offer on our top pick the next day, it was clear to us that we would find a place (based on his knowledge of the area, his dedication to fully understand what we want, his open/genuine friendly personality - a real People Person, and his knowledge of home construction), but it would not be on this frist trip as the house did not pass inspection. Then after spending the next 2 weeks on the phone - Marty going to properties to take pictures and offer his opinion - we scheduled the second trip to Florida to look at 6 more properties. By the time we got to Florida only 4 of our picks were still available so we looked at all 4 and made an offer the same day - but the owners already had another offer they were considering. At this point we were feeling like we would go home empty handed again - but then Marty suggested we look at a property he had been watching and thought we might like. We looked at it - loved it - made an offer the next day - and we are very happy to say we now own it! In the end, I think Marty knew better what we wanted than we did - and found it - again we cannot THANK YOU enough Marty. See you next time we are in Port Orange. Kurt and Carol
